Cosanti Foundation
Arcosanti, a project of the nonprofit Cosanti Foundation, was started by Italian architect Paolo Soleri in 1970. When completed the prototype arcology will house 5,000 people by combining compact urban structures with large-scale greenhouses. Located about 65 miles north of Phoenix, at exit 262, off of I-17.
