The Phippen Museum is a Center for American Western Art. Its goal is to preserve and exhibit museum quality Western art and educate the public about the unique heritage, history, legends and influence of art of the American West.

    21st Annual Trappings Of The American West The Phippen Museum 21st Annual Trappings Of The American West Presented by The Phippen Museum at The Phippen Museum November 12, 2011-March 11, 2012 The award winning exhibit of fine and functional art for the contemporary cowboy comes to the Phippen for the first time! It was more than 20 years ago that a group of Western craftsmen a painter and sculptor, a photographer, a knife maker, and a saddle maker discussed the idea of having one show that displayed both Western fine art and cowboy gear.     05/01/12- 05/29/12	9th Annual Miniature Masterpieces Show and Sale The Phippen Museum 9th Annual Miniature Masterpieces Show and Sale Presented by The Phippen Museum at The Phippen Museum May 1-May 29, 2012 The Miniature Masterpieces Show features small size original works of art from celebrated Western artists. Pieces are available for sale by a draw system. The drawing is held during the Phippen Museum's Annual Western Art Show.
