Heidi Osselaer presents the wild historical figure of Nellie Bush Trent. Bush was a teacher, lawyer, riverboat pilot, airplane pilot, businesswoman, bank president, justice of the peace, state legislator, and congressional candidate. She grew up in Mesa, attended Tempe Normal School, taught school in Glendale, and then moved to tiny Parker in 1915 where she and her husband operated the local ferry business across the Colorado River.
