    The Mad Linguist, and Prescott Fine Arts Association are partnering with the Prescott Public Library in an exciting weekend of performances in conjunction with the Thumb Butte Festival. Performers include Jonathan Best, Rita Cantu, the Mad Women Poets, the Flying Body Choir, improvisational dance, Readers Theater and more.

    Saturday Schedule:

    11:00am - Kyla Haber: Music and Tai Chi demo: a way to start the day
    11:30am - Gail Mangham: theatre piece based upon historic events in the Middle East
    12:00pm - Rita Cantu: Original and traditional music with guitar, dulcimer and other instruments
    12:30pm - Micki Shelton, playwright: Original storytelling and poetry
    1:30pm - Sistah Mary Grace: Folk-rock-blues Trio
    2:00pm - Mad Women Poets: Poetry by Mary Bragg, Sharon Seymor, Grace Deer, Carolyn Bolinsky, Elle Hughes and more!
    3:00pm - Lily Swan and Gray Sonnar: Harp, Flute, Voice and Drums
    3:30pm - Karuna Fedorschak, Ricki Henderson, Rita Cantu: Original Blues and Rock

    Sunday Schedule:

    1:00pm - Flying Body Choir: Experimental vocal ensemble with compositions by modern composers including Jonathan Best and Ben Sargent
    2:00pm - Warren Miller, Kent Gugler: Old-timey dance music with banjo, mandolin, and guitar
    2:30pm - Jonathan Best: "Edge-of-Your-Seat music!
    3:00pm - Music for Everybody playshop: This session gives audience a chance to crawl inside their own amazing potential to create music!
    3:30pm - Dan Seaman: Not your regular poetry! A riveting reading session
