Buckey O'Neill's Birthday

Sharlot Hall Museum invites the community to join in a celebration of the life and 150th birthday of Prescott's legendary Buckey O'Neill,with a commemorative event on the Museum campus, 415 W. Gurley St. in Prescott. The celebration will feature an appearance by the A Troop of the Arizona Rough Rider Historical Association, a unique birthday cake and a limited hand-out of free jumbo postcards of Captain Buckey O'Neill on his horse. The A Troop organization, which was honored in December with the prestigious Culture Keepers Award for its community services and efforts to preserve local history, will be on hand to bring back the bygone era when Buckey and his comrades sailed off to glory during the Spanish-American War.
